M'sia PM's popularity falls to new low: poll
KUALA LUMPUR - PUBLIC confidence in Malaysia's political and economic future has dwindled dramatically in recent months, with the prime minister's popularity hitting an all-time low, a survey showed on Friday.

The independent Merdeka Centre research firm found that only 28 per cent of registered voters polled in July felt encouraged by the country's direction, a severe fall from 68 per cent in late February.

The center said its nationwide survey of 1,030 adults was conducted by telephone July 4-14 and had a margin of error of 3.1 percentage points.

Fifty-four per cent were displeased with Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's performance, compared to 42 per cent who were satisfied - Datuk Seri Abdullah's worst approval rating since he took office in 2003, said the centre's director Ibrahim Suffian.

The results follow a public backlash over the government's decision to hike gasoline prices by 41 per cent in June and persistent uncertainties after Mr Abdullah's ruling coalition lost its longtime political dominance in March general elections.

'People feel bad about economic issues. They are concerned that the political bickering in this country is not helping to generate solutions', Mr Ibrahim told The Associated Press.

Only 8 per cent of respondents said current consumer prices were acceptable and 20 per cent expect the economy to improve next year, highlighting the impact of inflation that spiralled to 7.7 per cent in June. It was the steepest climb in more than 27 years.

In an interview with The Associated Press on Thursday, Mr Abdullah acknowledged the problem of inflation has become 'regarded as a weakness of the government today', adding that his administration is considering lowering retail fuel prices despite its high subsidy bill.

In another blow to the government, 66 per cent of respondents thought that a recent sodomy accusation against opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim was politically motivated to disrupt his career, the Merdeka Center said.

Datuk Seri Anwar insists the accusation by his 23-year-old former aide was part of a government plot, but Mr Abdullah and other leaders deny any conspiracy. Police completed their investigation into the allegation on Thursday, but government prosecutors have not announced if Mr Anwar would be charged.

Only 11 per cent of the Merdeka Center's respondents believed the sodomy accusation, compared with 55 per cent who thought it was false. The others were unsure or did not respond. Only 31 per cent were confident that police would handle the case in a fair and transparent manner. -- AP

1 Wan Azizah Meletakkan Jawatan - Lessons Learn

Bodohnya rakyat Malaysia!

4. Perjuangan "US Stooge" = "Flip Flop PM"

Persamaan di antara kedua-duanya:
  • Kedua-duanya "flip flop", suka berbohong dan memutar belitkan kenyataan.
  • Perjuangan keluarga dan anak beranak melebihi perjuangan rakyat.
  • Kedua-duanya boneka. Satu boneka Singapura dan satu lagi boneka US.
  • Kedua-dua berlagak alim, tapi perangai ....
  • Kedua-dua berasal dari Pulau Pinang. Hanya berani masuk gelanggang dekat kampung sendiri sahaja.
Amin.

The Osman Conspiracy?
Posted by: samcwpen

The plots thicken and there does not seem to be an organisation that is not a part of the magic tricks.

After my post, I could not help but look for more information as to who this good Doctor is. Lo and behold, I find that he is a registered medical practitioner who has been practising in Malaysia for the past 15 years, although he is only fully registered for the past three years.

The interesting facts found is that Dr Hamid is a Burmese Muslim who has worked for three years at the Regional Islamic Da'wah Council of South East Asia and the Pacific (RISEAP) organisation from 1993 to 1995.

Coincidently, Anwar was also one of the Supreme Council members in this organisation (RISEAP) at around this period of time.

Anwar also attended the "2nd World Peace Forum" on the 17th June 2008 in Jakarta. The other attendees from Malaysia were Abdullah Muhammad Shafiq Ong, Regional Islamic Da'wah Council of Southeast Asia and the Pacific (RISEAP).

After Working for RISEAP, he went to work in Sarawak for four years before coming back to work in Kuala Lumpur. His current registration details are as follow:

THAN AUNG @ MOHAMED OSMAN HAMID
UNIVERSITY OF RANGOON-RANGOON MEDICAL COLLEGE

DATE OF
FULL REGISTRATION: 09-12-2005

Current Registered Practise (2008):

Hospital Pusrawi s/b
Lot 149, Jalan Tun Razak
50400 Kuala Lumpur
WILAYAH PERSEKUTUAN KUALA LUMPUR

Can anyone clarify the relationship between Dr Mohamed Osman Hamid and Anwar Ibrahim, especially when they were both active at RISEAP in the early 1990's and late 1980's?

Can anyone also comment if Saiful has any connection with Dr Hamid, at RISEAP or at University Malaya, where he later worked for another 5 years between 2003 and 2007?

Clearly, Anwar is a man of many talents and many powerful friends, including the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, the US State Department, the World council of Mosques and RISEAP.

It makes one wonder how far does the conspiracy go and what his true intentions are, as he successfully continues to court and win over the public opinion of not only Malaysians, but the world at large, with his pretty but vulnerable and shy "bride" routines.

It just makes me sick, watching all this play-acting.

If there is one thing I hate the most, it is in being treated like a mushroom. Kept in the dark, and fed lots of bull-shit!!!

I rest my case.

0 Saiful To Swear On Quran. Anwar? I Don't Think He Dare!!

The Star, Thursday July 31, 2008

Saiful to swear on Quran

KUALA LUMPUR: Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan is determined to swear on the Quran to prove he is telling the truth of being sodomised by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

“Saiful is willing to swear on the Quran. If the ulama says he has to use the Quran, we will use it,” said Mohd Saiful’s lawyer Zamri Idrus yesterday.

Zamri said his client would take the holy oath after police completed investigations into the allegations made by him against the PKR de facto leader.

“We will set the time and date later,” he said.

Zamri added that his client continued his challenge to Anwar to swear on the Quran that he had not sodomised Mohd Saiful.

He also said Mohd Saiful wanted police to expedite their investigations on his sodomy allegations against Anwar.

“He is also standing by the police report that he made against Anwar. He has full trust that the police will carry out a thorough investigation,” he added.

Zamri also provided the press with a handwritten statement made by Mohd Saiful, 23, who is a former aide of Anwar.

“I want to say that there is no reason for me to slander and frame Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in this case,” Mohd Saiful stated in his signed statement.

“I leave it to the police to carry out investigations on my police report. I am now waiting for the outcome of the police to bring the individual involved to justice,” he added.

He also urged Anwar not to “twist and turn” the facts.

Asked to comment on reports which have appeared on several online news portals about the supposed medical report on Mohd Saiful by Hospital Pusrawi, Zamri said the only people who would know whether it was genuine were the hospital authorities.

“Let the police investigate the so-called medical report,” he said.

He also did not rule out pursuing legal action against blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin.

“There are so many things that have been said about Saiful. He just wants everyone to allow the police to do and complete the investigations,” he said.

Cucu Tok Selampit: I don't want to say who is right or who is wrong. I don't want to accuse anybody cause it will create "fitnah". If this so call the most bad person perceived by Malaysian is willing to take Islamic oath, I respect him. However, for the other man who think he is more Islamic than "ulama", afraid and not willing to take oath with so many excuses given, I don't know what to say. May Allah revealed the truth because I so fed up with hypocrite person. What wrong to take oath in front of your supporters. You can do hours of nonsense talking but avoiding to take the oath. "Wallahi, Wabillahi, Watallahi, I have never ever sodomise any man before in my life. God will punish me if I'm lie!". Is it hard to do??
